Advice to a Blogger

Source:  Gregory Angleand Whittney Trueax,

Be Human

You’re writing for people, so act like one

Write in the first person (“I”) perspective

It’s okay to have a personality

Think of a blog as writing down the way you would explain a topic to someone at a presentation you’re giving - you’re leading a casual online discussion

Write as if you’re blogging to a single person, not the masses

Provide Useful and Unique Content

Your content should do one of the following things for your audience:

 o   Educate

o   Entertain

o   Inspire debate

o   Create Community
